On Monday the 21st, the team leads of the CHS Micro-Gravitational Project went to a day full of aerospace fun, at the Colorado State capitol!
The event was held by the Colorado Space Business Roundtable (CSBR), the Colorado Space Coalition (CSC), Citizens for Space Exploration (CSE), and the Aerospace States' Association (ASA), along side numerous other aerospace partner organizations. The day consisted of networking and dialogue with Colorado Legislators discussing how Colorado became one of the largest space economies per capita in our nation and how they can effectively support aerospace in our state.

Ball Aerospace hosted the team, and they had a table where they explained the experiment and the process of getting to the ISS. The event was attended by families, students of all ages, professionals from local aerospace companies, and state government employees, including Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia.
Abby Schmid,  says "It was very informative and we learned a lot about the current aerospace industry and what the state is doing to continue aerospace growth and support  in Colorado."
