About Us
This is the official website for Centaurus Engineering's project to send a bacterial experiment to space and any other Space-related CHS news. Our experiment, "The Effects of Simulated Gravity on Bacterial Lag Phase in a Micro-gravitational environment" was selected by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space as one of three student experiments selected. The experiment was set to launch in spring 2015, on SpaceX CRS-7 out of Launch Complex 40, Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Sadly, the craft exploded shortly into flight, losing all the experiments and supplies aboard. The experiment is set to launch again in January 2016. The software, hardware, biology, and website/PR teams are each working in their specified areas of this project. Click the links above for more information on each of the teams!
